What is Life Coaching?

How long is a coaching session?

Coaching sessions average 60 minutes depending on the topic and progress made during the session. Most clients average two sessions a month.


What is the cost of a coaching session?

  • A one hour coaching session is $200.
  • We offer a 4 30-minute coaching package for $350.
  • Resume Writing package for $350.
  • Interviewing package for $350.
  • Coaching packages may be tailored to fit a client’s needs for $350.

How and when do I pay for my coaching session?

  • Coaching is paid at the end of each session. If you have to miss a session, please notify your coach 24 hours in advance and arrange another time.
  • Package fees are due at the end of the first session.  There are no refunds on packages after the first session, however, missed sessions that have already been paid for may be made up any time.

How do I schedule a session?

The client decides when and how often to meet.  Coaching sessions may be scheduled via email or phone and is subject to the availability of both parties.


Do I have a choice of doing Life Coaching in person or over the phone?

The Mi-Best practice is in the Woodland Hills area where we do most of our coaching via zoom. We accept clients from the Los Angeles area for coaching by telephone.  The client is responsible for calling the coach.


What is the difference between Psychotherapy and Life Coaching?

  • A life coach creates a setting for free-flowing dialogue and creative problem-solving, and moves the client toward the path of fulfilling their goals.
  • Psychotherapy focuses on a client’s mental and emotional problems and on rehabilitating the client to socially-functioning.

How will I know which Life Coach to pick? What qualities should I look for in a coach?

The purpose of a life coach is to help you set goals and to move you in a direction towards fulfilling your best potential.  A valuable life coach will be genuinely interested in your passions and aspirations.  He or she will create a safe environment, free of judgment, promoting free-thinking in order to remove barriers and invoke positive change.  With the right coach, the connection will be instant and your communication will feel effortless.
